About ASUE 10,000

The Accessing Start-Up Empowerment (ASUE) 10,000 project is designed to raise an army of passionate, economically resourcefull entrepreneurs through a statewide training, mentorship and competition that will engage 10,000 young individuals across the 18 LGAs of Edo State. Participants, including budding entrepreneurs, artisans, job seekers, and creative minds, will compete for the grand prize of N10,000,000 – an unprecedented opportunity that promises to transform lives and futures.

With SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

  1. Help 10,000 Edo youths develop their innate skills.
  2. Equip them with practical skills relevant to emerging industries and market demand.
  3. Help them identify their skill area of passion and design a training scheme for them.
  4. Empower them with necessary knowledge and expertise to succeed in various fields of endeavor.

With ENTREPRENEURSHIP EMPOWERMENT

  1. Empower 10,000 Edo youths to identify opportunities, innovate, and establish sustainable ventures. 
  2. Guide business development, financial management, marketing strategies, and leadership skills.
  3. Free distribution of copies of the “Skills to Wealth” book to the 10,000 beneficiaries of ASUE 10,000 across the 18 LGAs of Edo state starting with the 1000 participants from Oredo LGA already being invited for the flag off ceremony on friday 3rd of may 2024. This manual will serve as the mentorship tool for all participants, providing invaluable guidance on entrepreneurship and wealth creation.

With ASUE 10,000 ENTERPRISE COMPETITION

  1. Engage 10,000 Edo youths in an enterprise competition to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and innovative ideas to the public for an ultimate prize of #10,000,000.
  2. The competition will basically be online and feature them pitching their business proposals or showcasing their entrepreneurial ventures for the public to vote.
